Peaks: turn stream moments into Shorts

Peaks scans your VODs for the moments viewers surged and gives you short clips to turn into YouTube Shorts. Fetch your recent VODs from YouTube, Twitch, or Kick, choose Find peaks, then pick a peak and choose Create Short job.

Where peaks come from

Live viewer data starts once your channel is saved in Settings > My Channels. Streams from before that have no live viewer data.

Find peaks in a VOD

  1. Open Peaks and pick a source: YouTube, Twitch, or Kick.
  2. Choose Fetch VODs. For Kick, choose Find peaks (CCV).
  3. Narrow the list with When (default: last 7 days), Min duration (default: 180 seconds), and Max duration. Sort by recent or popular.
  4. On a VOD, choose Find peaks. You get up to 8 peaks of about 45 seconds each.
  5. Use Open at peak to watch the moment in context.

Turn a peak into a Short

Already cut the moment yourself? Use Upload a trim (MP4, MOV, WebM, or MKV).

Questions

Why does a stream show no live viewer data?

AuraFlux records live viewers only after your channel is saved in Settings > My Channels. Streams from before that date have no live viewer data.

Does creating a Short cost extra?

No. Finding peaks counts toward your monthly VOD hours. Creating the Short has no extra charge.

What happens when I run out of VOD hours?

Peaks shows Not enough VOD hours left this month. You can wait for next month's allowance or upgrade to Agency for unlimited VOD hours.
