Jobs: create, follow, and download videos
A job is one video AuraFlux makes for you. Start one from Peaks or from Jobs > New job, then follow it on the In Progress page. When it reaches In Review, watch it, then download it or approve it to publish.
Start a job
- From Peaks: choose Create Short job on a peak.
- From Jobs: choose + New job to open Create a video.
In Create a video:
- Pick a template under What are you making?
- Choose the Source video.
- Pick the Format.
- Choose Where to publish.
- Add any extras.
- Set When to start. A scheduled start must be at least 31 minutes away.
- Keep After production on Review before publishing (the default), or change it.
- Choose Start production.
What each status means
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Preparing | AuraFlux is setting up the job. |
| In Queue | Waiting for its turn. |
| Scheduled | Set to start at a later time. |
| Processing | The video is being made. |
| In Review | Ready for you to watch and approve. |
| Complete | Finished. |
| Published | Posted to your connected account. |
| Failed | Something went wrong. See below. |
| On Hold | Paused. Email support if a job stays on hold. |
| Cancelled | Stopped. It will not finish. |
| VOD hours paused | Your plan's VOD hours for this month ran out. |
On the job page, progress moves through Sourcing content, Writing the script, Building the video, and Publishing.
Follow progress
- Jobs > In Progress refreshes every 15 seconds.
- A job running longer than 90 minutes is flagged Running longer than expected.
- Failed jobs do not show on In Progress. Check the Needs attention count on Jobs.
When a job is ready
On the job page you can:
- Watch it and Download MP4.
- Save as template to repeat the same setup.
- Choose where to post under Publish to and edit the Post details. YouTube visibility starts as Private. TikTok captions allow up to 280 characters and Instagram captions up to 2,200.
- Choose Publish now (private) or Approve & publish to your chosen platforms.
Every video gets a quality score. Videos that score below 70 get a human review before they publish.
Finished videos stay in Jobs > History, where you can download them again.
If a job fails
The job page shows Something went wrong with a Contact support link. The video does not publish.
Email support@auraflux.co with the job link and the AuraFlux team will look into it.
Questions
Can I cancel a job myself?
Not yet. There is no cancel button for customers. Email support@auraflux.co with the job link.
Why is my job on VOD hours paused?
Your plan's VOD hours for this month ran out. Studio includes up to 40 VOD hours a month. Wait for next month's allowance, or upgrade to Agency on Billing for unlimited VOD hours.
Where do finished videos go?
Jobs > History lists every completed and published video. You can download any of them from there.
